I liked the balance between the sky-reflecting water at bottom, the boardwalk and fall-winter land at top, and the ducks walking on water in the middle. :)
Would it be dragon-safe? She's survived moderate fanservice (God knows, it's impossible to escape) but I try to keep her away from anything really rapey (e.g. Valvrave) or gory (some violence is fine, she's old enough to handle that, but something like Berserk, probably not yet).
(She's read George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire books, so she reads pretty adult things, but I personally find things harder to handle on-screen than in a book, so.)
Oh, I'd say it's definitely dragon-safe; IIRC it was originally developed for her age group. The closest thing to gore is one character who has rather extreme nosebleeds, later in the series. No rapey, no violence beyonds slapstick (and a very occasional serious slap)..
I'd call it warped in a more surreal Looney Tunes sense; wacky rather than creepy. Anachronism stew kind of thing. To give one of the mildest examples: It's set in what appears to be a pre-tech hunter-gatherer jungle village... where the residents have videogames and go to what looks like perfectly standard urban school.
