Stock-car racers aren't something you normally see at the Indy 500 museum, but apparently they were running some kind of NASCAR exhibit on this visit. And these are classic examples to me; my first memories of stock cars were like this, and it's what I always think of. (Anyone else remember the Herbie movies? I think those were the first 'race' movies I can remember seeing...)

Date: 2016-08-09 03:47 am (UTC)I'm tempted to recommend The Love Bug - it's a very 60s Disney Movie with all the tropes, but it's still fun... and Herbie (the titular VW Beetle that has a mind of its own) is a classic.
