Another angle and close-up on the monument from last time. This one works a little better as a picture, I think.

I like this! The only thing that might make it work better for me is maybe a little more headroom for the statue-thing up top, but I don't know if that would mess up the composition in other ways. It's a great-looking monument, though. :D

Unfortunately, getting any more of the top into the frame would have meant stepping out into the middle of the street. *sheepish look* The monument is about 3 meters in from the sidewalk, so that's all the room I had to back up. :(
