More on lighting... (and cider!)

Another example of how lighting can change a picture...
There's a cider mill about 30 minutes south of the KC area - great fresh apple cider, various preserves, and fresh cider donuts. ^_- And it's become a tradition of mine to go down there on Super Bowl Sunday, as my way of 'opting out' of the whole hullabaloo.
So this weekend, here's what the mill looked like when I got there:

Kinda grey and faded, almost washed-out, ne? Probably because it wasn't getting much sun; this is what the sky looked like in the other direction.

However, by the time I got out, the clouds had shifted, letting the sun shine through...

Big improvement, isn't it? :)

Date: 2016-02-11 11:55 pm (UTC)Mind you, now that you mention orchards, brings back memories of one that is there no more. :( Small little place, but it made actual cherry cider - not apple cider flavored with some cherry juice, but actual cherry cider. Absolutely delicious, but sadly the orchard has been 'redeveloped'. ;_;
