Friends in the Sunset

Weather was cold when I swung by the Kansas Aviation Museum this afternoon - temperatures in the 20s, with wind chill well below that - but the lighting was gorgeous, with beautiful blue skies. And as the sun dropped in the sky... mmmmm.
I like the way these two line up together, and I like the effect of the small Cessna in the shadow against the big Boeing in the sun - but I do feel sorry for the poor little Tweet! (The Cessna T-37, a small jet trainer first built in the 50s, got that nickname from the very high-pitched whine from the jet engines... one of the plane's few vices, and the Air Force was happy enough to keep using them through 2009.)
