Photo of the Day - Saturn V

The Saturn V. This is the big one. The real deal. The rocket that took men to the moon.
So, it's big.

Really big. (See the common trash cans for scale.)

Now look up.

Way up.

We're only seeing about 2/3 of the rocket, by the way. The barely-in-sight bit at the very top is just before the rocket slims down to the third stage and the Command/Service module.
(Oh, and I was fibbing a bit; this is a full-scale replica of the Saturn V. The real one is on display in a building to the left.)
