Photo of the Day - KU Courtyard

Another fisheye shot, this one of a little courtyard on the KU campus - (the former) Hoch Auditorium on the right, Wescoe Hall on the left, the sunset peeking over Anschutz Science Library on the far right, and just a bit of Malott Hall on the far left.

Oh, wow! The combination of the lighting (esp. the flare-y bit of sun) and the fisheye makes this look beautifully moody. It would make a great background for a computer game. =)

Cornell had a Malott Hall too. Don't know if named after the same Malott.

This is another photo taken in the run I was talking about a little while back, where it was cloudy and grey as I was getting ready to leave; but I decided to take a chance and bring the camera anyway. This lighting and sky was the reward. :)

Not sure how it makes me homesick for a place half a mile from home, but it does. I've walked those stairs hundreds of times and now I so rarely go to campus.

I know what you mean; I feel the same way about going back up to Lawrence at all, even though it's just a 30 minute drive.
