From Dad's back porch up in Des Moines. Anyone identify our flying friend? Dad thought it was a woodpecker, but I have no idea.

Date: 2015-09-12 04:59 am (UTC)And it was cute. :) But yeah... I think I remember seeing a pic of a woodpecker that looked like this, but my mental image of woodpeckers is so, so stolen by Woody Woodpecker & crew that I have trouble identifying real ones. ^^;;
