So... the Vegas Strip is famous, and famously elegant, swank, rich, etc. etc.

And then right across the interstate, you have this area. I wouldn't call it run-down, but Denny's and Budget Suites are in a rather different category from the Luxor or the MGM Grand. :) Delano is part of the Mandalay Bay complex, rather ritzy and gold-plated; I admit I enjoy seeing the juxtaposition here.
