...perhaps not even amusing so much, as it was made in the 1890's - an early sample of the art indeed! And well-made, for all that, to have survived so well so long.

It's interesting, looking back at the early days of most vehicles, to see the amount of experimentation that went on before things settled in a more-or-less standard design.

That's kind of beautiful. It almost looks like a sculpture.

Yeah, I shouldn't put it down; it does show a certain amount of elegance, particularly for the time. It's just so... different from what we're used to thinking of as motorized vehicles.

BTW, I'm curious; did you have a chance to look at the entry on the Iron Jungle? I kinda enjoyed writing that one, but not sure if it was informative.
