Best buddies?

Taken at a 'display area' in the combined Dealer's Room/Art Room at 2015's ConQuest KC; this is a group dedicated to building working R2-D2 models. ('Working' in the sense of 'moves around, can be programmed to take certain actions'... sadly, not as capable as the real Artoo. ^^;; )

The relatively dim lighting in that corner of the hotel ballroom made pictures somewhat difficult, and I'm not as happy with how the black droid came out; OTOH, at least it looks reasonably sharp if you zoom in.
