I'm a bit surprised there weren't more vocals on there... and that they clustered at the start and end. Ah, well.

Date: 2015-04-28 08:25 pm (UTC)And When I Die is 70's blues/folk pop; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gxwutvlTw8 I rather like the harmonica. :)
Wouldn't expect anyone to recognize the jazz; it's decent, not spectacular.
Sun Runner is early electronic/synth-flavored jazz; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y61aR8XjVvI
Jumpin' Jupiter is one of the minor Looney Tunes classics; includes classic Western-flavored strings, and even brings in the Powerhouse theme. The cartoon's not bad either. :)
Africa and Magellan are both New Age-ish music from the Fresh Aire publisher's label, though different flavors - Africa is rather laid-back acoustic, Magellan is harder-edged synth.
Let's Do it Again is pretty disposable and just a random library inclusion; a lot of Fogelberg is also disposable, but I rather like Part of the Plan. "Love when you can /
Cry when you have to / Feel you must, that's a part of the plan. / Await your arrival / With simple survival / And one day we'll all understand."
The Secret of Kells is a delightful treat of an animated movie; the whole thing is done in the style of an illuminated manuscript from the middle ages, funky perspective and all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-am8lpUtH8 is a fair sample.
