(I first remember the song being used as the soundtrack to a train video on a kid's TV show, when I was growing up... but I can't find which one. :( Pretty sure it was Sesame Street, but I haven't been able to find any references... )

Of course, now all I think of when I see a train is that informational video they showed us in the learner's permit class whose basic point was, DO NOT INVITE CAR-TRAIN COLLISION THE TRAIN WILL WIN.

Heh. Not quite the image I get... then again, I remember being fascinated by trains from an early age; my paternal grandparents lived in an Illinois farmhouse close to a rail line, and a porch gave an excellent view of the accompanying rail bridge. I spent many hours lying out on the porch and watching the trains go by...
