Another before-and-after

So... this is what a scenic overlook on I-35 south of Emporia looked like in 2015, when they were doing the annual controlled burn-off of the dead winter grass:



This is what it looked like last Thursday, on my drive back to Kansas City:

Yeah... tho the point I was more trying to make is that even when they were deliberately burning large swaths of dead grass, the sky was still far clearer than it was with all the smoke coming down from the Canadian wildfires.
