If this pic didn't make it easier to figure out... :) This is a lens filter I found at a local sale a few weeks ago, which uses a prism to split the image into multiple copies. It's an effect that's pretty easy to do now, digitally, but back in the film days you had to do it the hard way. (I wasn't even sure what it actually did until I put it on the lens; the filter just said 'Mirage', and didn't have an instruction sheet.) Kinda cool to see how it used to work.
