So, a bit of news I can discuss now after talking to HR... I was laid off Monday. Long story short, the company I work for was bought out a couple of years ago, and the corporate parent decided to stop using the software I develop in favor of what the rest of the branches are using. So I'm no longer needed. Oh, well.

I'm sorry to hear that, and good luck on the job hunt. I hear it's a good market for job hunters, but I also know that everyone's job search is different.
