Oh, nice! And if those other two were from the same general time and place, it looks like you were lucky to see the comet at all. My entirely unsuccessful attempts were dappled by such cute pretty little clouds, Blargh.
I went out Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Sunday and Wednesday were both too cloudy. Tuesday I got the first pic, but it wasn't an ideal spot and it went behind a row of trees after a while. Tried a different spot Wednesday, but ran into the clouds in the second and third pic - the place looked pretty good otherwise. So went back Friday night, but by then the comet was pretty faint, and I didn't get very good pics.
Obviously persistence is the key, which of course as a photographer you know already.
I continued to go out with my binoculars up to yesterday evening, but I think the sky is just not dark enough in our neighborhood, and a combination of crime wave and pandemic make it harder to persuade people to drive places. David did go out to a couple of lakes -- I wasn't well and couldn't go with him -- but general conditions were not in his favor.
I saw a lot of other lovely things while I was failing to see the comet. I split the double star in the handle of the Big Dipper -- simple even with something like a pair of bird-watching binoculars, but very satisfying just the same -- and admired Jupiter and Saturn.
