That's where we are right now as well. A previous photo that you posted of, I think, a white oak with most of its leaves still in place looked exactly like a tree in a yard I walk by several times a week. Oaks around here are cautious, unlike the maples, which are blooming with abandon.

The textures in this photo are really lovely.
