Taken near twilight on a gloomy day... I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did, with the statue standing out against the faded downtown background.

I've taken pics of this statue before, but this is the first time I've used a long telephoto; that brings the downtown background much closer to the statue.

Oh, this is a great moody pic. Thank you for sharing! It almost has a graphic art sort of feel to it, with the muted palette.
