Atlas V launch! The first (and probably last) rocket launch I've seen.
I was in Orlando for a professional conference, and it happened to coincide with a launch at Cape Canaveral... so even though the launch was at 5:45 AM, I decided to make the hour's drive out there. Don't regret it one bit. Perhaps fortunately, waking up wasn't a problem; I couldn't fall asleep the night before, so at 3 AM I decided 'the heck with it' and got up to start driving.
