Spanning Fences

I first tried to get this shot because this was the prettiest thistle in the near vicinity, and saw the barbed wire as something just getting in the way. Looking back after I got home, though, it feels kind of symbolic. Not sure what it's symbolic of, but symbolic.

I think compositionally the barbed wire adds something to the piece. :D
