Classic Theater

The Franklin Theater, originally built in 1937 and successfully refurbished as a semi-arthouse theater; and the Rio in Overland Park, built in 1946, not quite as spiffed-up but still reflecting an earlier age of movies.
(And both of these remind me of Zen Pencil's tribute strip for Roger Ebert. The final panels choke me up every time.)
