Bright... snake? o.O

At first, this reminded me of a Pinewood Derby car I made once upon a time - bright fluorescent pink/orange body, simple wedge shape. But the more I started looking at this angle, the more those gaps next to the front tires started looking like eyes... turning the car into a flat snake's head...

Now I can't unsee the snake head and eyes! Good thing I like snakes!

(I mean, I don't randomly go up to strange snakes and try to hug them! I have a healthy respect for them. But Joe's family used to keep snakes, and I think they're cool creatures. Not really cuddly, but neat.)

The first time I handled a snake was a python Joe's folks had named Monty (har, har, yeah ^_^). He was blind in one eye but basically friendly (insofar as snakes can be said to be friendly?). I was, however, alarmed when he tried to dart up my pants leg--it was dead of winter in upstate New York, Joe's dad never turns up the heat, and that poor snake was cold. I was rescued from the heat-seeking snake. ;)
