The Pits

This was the first (possibly only?) time I've been to the Indy 500, and it was an... interesting experience.

A friend of mine has a girlfriend who's been going for years, having a family interest in racing, and they invited me along for this year. As it happened, we were right opposite the entrance to the pit lane, which meant we got a good view of the first few pit crews working on the racers. :) (If a rather... abbreviated... view of the cars racing by!)

Sadly, the driver for this particular team spun out about halfway through the race; his pit crew did extremely well, and I wish they could have carried the car all the way to the finish.
