Aww, man! I never got to play with GI Joes, although I watched the cartoons sometimes. Instead, *sigh* we got Barbies. Although the fun thing about Barbies is that their heads pop off so that one can, hypothetically speaking, leave their heads outside one's little sister's bedroom door to scare her and prevent her from following one around.
