Not-a-Grotto, Night/Day

So, I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago for a developer's conference; one of those big fancy resort hotels that I really wish wouldn't manage to keep capturing convention business. :(

(Decided to drive down instead of flying this year, because in past experience at other resort hotels in this chain, the hotel was located far enough from anything else that your choices were to use the hotel services, restaurants, etc. - or to rent a car/take a cab everywhere. Might have reconsidered if I'd known the parking fee would be $22/night. x.x )

I'll give the resort this; it has a huge indoor courtyard that they tried really hard to make a grotto. The size and detail is certainly impressive.



Even had 'buildings' inside the 'grotto' for some of the resort's restaurants...

But it wasn't real.
