Dashboard and controls for a 1908 Mercedes racer. I think the two things that impressed me the most:

* Even on a race car, a pretty utilitarian device where there's a big emphasis on functionality and putting in only what's needed to do the job... they still put in the extra effort to make it look nice. :)

* Is it just me, or does that dashboard (with all the brass, gauges, tube indicators, etc.) look an inspiration for a lot of steampunk?
