Man the Battlements!

I mentioned Fort Negley in the comments of the previous post; this is its counterpart further south, Fort Granger. While it can be argued that the Battle of Franklin was more important than the subsequent Battle of Nashville, Fort Negley was rebuilt and maintained as a historic site... while Fort Granger has mostly gone back to nature. This ditch-and-mound is about the last remaining part of the fortifications.
