Or perhaps an Odd Couple of sorts? :)

The KC-97 served the USAF for 28 years as a refueling tanker and air transport, moving from mainline USAF service to local Air National Guards, before finally being retired in 1978. Not a glamorous aircraft, but very important in supporting Air Force international deployments!

Meanwhile, the "Flying Banana" helicopter, originally designed for cold-weather operation, went on to become an Air Force workhorse; in addition to supplying DEW early-warning posts near the Arctic Circle, it was used by the French in Algeria and the USAF in Vietnam.

Together, they fight crime! Or something...
