The little details...

This is a Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboprop engine, known for use in many, many small aircraft and for high reliability. All well and good so far, if mainly of interest to aviation geeks like myself. But then, look at that spot of color near the right tip of the engine:



How many industrial manufacturers would put a handsome little badge like that in a place where almost no one will ever see it? That's kind of cool, you know?
